I See You

Everyone watching you wonders — how does she do it all?

You are a force. A natural-born nurturer who has turned her own hard-won healing into a calling — a career, a community, a life built entirely around purpose.

You show up fully. You are extraordinary at it.

You are doing it. You are living your purpose-driven life. There is evidence everywhere that it is working.

And yet — at some point during the day, you numb out. You go through the motions. By the time you get home, you are empty.

"You've made peace with your story. But your body hasn't."

It shows up in the need to stay busy. In the inability to truly sit still. In the quiet undercurrent of always needing to prove. In tension with the people you love. In moments of flooding that seem to come from nowhere.

And here is what you may not have been told yet: it is not your fault.

Your nervous system is still running the settings that helped you survive what you have survived. You have done the internal work. Your body just hasn't caught up.

What's Really Happening?

That's dysregulation. And it looks like being Superwoman. You've normalized a nervous system running on high alert. Rest feels foreign — or worse, irresponsible.

You're always on, even when you're supposed to be off.

Your joy feels muted, like it's behind glass.

You're giving from depletion and calling it dedication.

You brace for the next hard thing before it even arrives.

No amount of mindset work can fully reach the part of your body that is holding all of this. The work has to go deeper. It has to be felt — not just understood.

You don't know how much you are holding until you feel it leave !

Expanded capacity. Embodied calm. Joy in small, ordinary things. Connection to yourself and your source. This is what a regulated nervous system makes possible.

This retreat was created for a very specific kind of woman. You have survived things that would have broken most people, and you transmuted that hard into something you now offer to others. You are a healer, caregiver, coach, or soulful entrepreneur who gives deeply and sometimes forgets to receive.

You have done your inner work; the therapy, the coaching, the books and you still feel a low hum of tension you can't fully release. You are carrying a lot, and you are passionate about every piece of it. But the carrying is wearing on you.

You have normalized a nervous system that runs hot, and some part of you knows that normal isn't the same as healthy. You are ready, perhaps desperately ready to discover what ease actually feels like in your own body. You don't have to keep going alone.

Come be held.

This retreat is not about doing less. It is about rebuilding your capacity from the inside — so you can do more, from a place of ease rather than depletion.

Is this for you?

Meet your Guide

Angela Smart Flinn

Event Founder and Nervous Sytem Calibration Specialist

Angela Smart has spent thirty years going straight toward the hard things — in her own life and in the lives of the women she serves. As a Nervous System Calibration Specialist, coach, massage therapist, and energy worker, she brings a depth to her work that only comes from having done it herself.

A survivor of childhood sexual abuse, Angela lived in fight-or-flight for decades before discovering TRE — the modality that finally let her body catch up to everything her mind and spirit already knew. Her joy returned. And she started writing again.

She is the published author of Wonderful, a children's book, and her debut poetry collection The Other Side of Shattered — which she credits as the very thing that gave birth to this retreat — publishes this year. The writing cracked something open. What poured out became

Crossing the Threshold.

A woman of faith, mother of four, and Wyoming transplant — Angela created this retreat because she has lived every word of it.

Angela is not teaching from the summit she's walking the path beside you.

Alysia Humphries

Alysia Humphries is a guide for women ready to come home to themselves. As a heart-centered Life Coach and Harmonic Light Therapy practitioner, she helps clients move out of stress, pain, and survival mode — and into lives shaped by joy, presence, and deep self-care.

A wife and mom of seven, Alysia knows firsthand what it's like to juggle it all while still craving more aliveness.  Since childhood, she's used movement as a language for what words can't hold — a way to process and express emotion, wake up her senses, and reconnect to her own body.  When she faced her own journey of healing from depression, anxiety, and self abandonment, she found healing in returning to movement and listening to her body.

She recognized a common thread of women numbing out, pushing through, and disconnecting from how we actually feel. Now she guides women to rediscover their inner light and go from numb to alive in their bodies, through principles of self care, embodiment, listening to and expressing what’s in their heart, through their body.  Real transformation happens when we embody it— when we let ourselves laugh, cry, breathe, flow, express, and move. Your body is the catalyst.

The Wisdom Within isn't a dance class- It's a simple intuitive movement practice that helps you reconnect with your body, release what's stuck and tune back into the wisdom living inside you. Through guided moving meditation you'll explore what's within, come alive in your senses and meet the part that's been waiting for you-- your playful inner child and your own divine wisdom.

Tami Young

ThisBody Code, Emotion Code Belief Code Practioner

Tami Young is a holistic energy practitioner and mother of eight whose work is rooted in both lived experience and deep compassion. Her path began after the birth of her fourth child, who suffered a traumatic brain injury and was diagnosed with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Faced with overwhelming medical challenges and limited answers, Tami refused to accept a fixed outcome for her daughter’s life.

Her search for solutions led her beyond conventional approaches and into the world of energy healing, where she discovered the Emotion Code and Body Code systems in 2014. What began as a desperate attempt to help her daughter evolved into a profound transformation.

Through this work, Tami witnessed meaningful shifts in her daughter’s comfort and wellbeing—and, just as powerfully, developed a deep, intuitive connection to her inner world.

Today, Tami works with clients around the world, helping them uncover and release the emotional and energetic imprints that contribute to physical pain, illness, and disconnection. Her work is known for its depth, precision, and ability to create powerful shifts in a short amount of time.

Tami brings a grounded, heart-centered presence to her work, offering clients not only insight and relief, but a renewed sense of hope, connection, and possibility.

FAQ

1. I've done a lot of healing work already. Is this going to cover ground I've already covered?

This retreat works at a level most healing modalities don't reach — the body itself. You may have done tremendous work on your mindset, beliefs, and spirituality. This goes beneath all of that into the physiological patterns your nervous system is still running. Women who have done the most inner work often experience the deepest shifts here.

2. I'm worried about being retraumatized. Are the modalities safe?

Every modality used at this retreat was chosen specifically because it releases without reactivating. TRE in particular works with your body's own natural mechanism — nothing is forced, nothing is pushed. You are always in control of your own experience and the pace at which you move through it. This is all about less being more and gentle being best.

3. I can barely take three days away. Is it really worth it?

The women who feel they can least afford to step away are usually the ones who need it most. Three days of genuine nervous system repair can give you back more bandwidth, energy, and clarity than months of pushing through ever could.

4. Will I have to share personal things in front of a group?

You will never be required to share anything you aren't ready to share. This is a safe, intimate container — but your journey is your own and you move through it at your own pace. Much of the processes are designed to shift things with out a whole lot of story.

5. What if I have an emotional release during the retreat?

That is not only okay — it is often the point. You will be held by experienced, trauma-informed facilitators the entire time. Emotional release is welcomed, witnessed, and supported. You will not be alone in it.

6. I've never heard of TRE. What exactly is it?

TRE stands for Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises. It is a gentle, body-based practice that activates your nervous system's own natural ability to release stored tension and stress. It requires no prior experience, no particular fitness level, and works regardless of how long you've been carrying what you're carrying. You will have the opportunity, pre event to learn TRE privately with Angela over zoom.

8. I'm coming from out of town. What do I need to arrange?

Your travel to Cody, Wyoming is the first thing. You may want a hotel the night before and the night we end. Once you arrive at the TAC Retreat Center everything is taken care of — your room, all your meals, and the full retreat experience. We recommend flying into Cody Regional Airport or Billings Logan International Airport. Billings is a couple of hours drive from Cody.

9. Is there a payment plan available?

Yes. Payment plans are available for General Admission and VIP upgrade. Reach out directly and we will find an arrangement that makes this accessible for you. Book a baseline call with Angela so we can make this work for you.

10. How do I know if I'm ready for this?

If something in you responded while reading this page — if your body felt a pull, a recognition, or even just a quiet yes — trust that. You don't need to have it all figured out. Readiness isn't the absence of fear. It's deciding that what's on the other side is worth crossing toward.
